What is the EVD

EVD runs the Development Cooperation Matchmaking facility on behalf of the Dutch Minister of Development Cooperation.

EVD is an agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. EVD provides support to businesses and public organisations active in the areas of international commerce and development cooperation. It does so by disseminating information on foreign markets, by promoting Dutch business interests abroad and by providing individual advice. The agency is involved in a large number of programmes and makes use of many established regulations to offer structural and financial support to specific sectors and businesses. EVD is also part of a large national and international network. The agency can be of assistance to businesses and other organisations in forging links between them and valuable business partners abroad.
