Serious companies in developing countries are often on the lookout for reliable business partners abroad. The development cooperation Matchmaking facility puts those companies in touch with Dutch business operating in the same sector.

EVD is an agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. EVD provides support to businesses and public organisations active in the areas of international commerce and development cooperation. It does so by disseminating information on foreign markets, by promoting Dutch business interests abroad and by providing individual advice. The agency is involved in a large number of programmes and makes use of many established regulations to offer structural and financial support to specific sectors and businesses.
