PROCEDURE VISA APPLICATION
An appointment should be made via the Consular Call Centre (phone number 011-2596914) from Monday to Friday from 11.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs local time. Upon submitting the application, visa fees need to be paid (for which the applicant will receive a receipt) and all relevant documents (as mentioned in the requirements list) should be handed over, and possible questions answered.
In case not all relevant documents are handed over at the first appointment, the lacking documents should be handed over at a second appointment. When all documents are received, and possible questions answered, the application will be processed, with three possible outcomes:
- the requested visa is granted
- the visa application is sent for advice to the relevant government body in Netherlands
- the visa application is rejected
- of which the applicant is informed in writing
The visa applicant is free to appeal to any rejection of the visa, for which the procedure is attached to the decision of rejection. Rejection of a visa application can never lead to any restitution of earlier paid visa fees.
